Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was born to a Russian mother and Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She has a good command of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to a Russian father and an Indian mother, is proficient in both languages. At the age of 11 Annat Mahendru choreographed, and performed a dance which led to the honor of a German television appearance. The show featured a Russian-born snow maiden who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. After graduating at New York's high school, she received her bachelor's degree in English degree at St. John's University. She studied comedy and improvisation at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as a Russian-speaking mother Olga. Her family relocated to East Meadow New York, with her father when she was 13, and is now starring with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. The role she played on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable television performance. The actress is famous for her frequent appearances on The Following on Fox, The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
